In this sweet spot of the season we start to prepare for shorter days and cozier accommodations. Tea for Two. I’m not much of a tea drinker, but I am a big fan of a tea party. I love traditional bone china tea sets designed with a floral pattern laid out on linens and surrounded by spoons and tins of loose leaf teas. There is also such a pleasant floral aroma when brewing that adds to the visual delight. Plus, the promise of miniature foods, such as tiny sandwiches, scones with cream and delicate cakes elevates the experience. And if you're feeling a bit decadent, you can add a sparkling wine or a bourbon punch as part of the beverage offerings. There is something very chic and cozy about drinking tea with friends.
