A couple of corrections to what Ms. Ramirez stated:
1) There was no public vote on AB 205. It was instead passed by the state legislature, therefore it cannot be said that it represents what "the people" wanted;
2) What Dr. Mulopulos can do with his property is constrained by local and state restrictions and issues related to zoning. Hence the need for and EIR, a recommendation from the Planning Commission, and the City Council vote.
Furthermore, it is unfortunate that Ms. Ramirez feels the need to smear her own constituents. A City Councilmember should be more charitable toward those they represent. Her behavior is unprofessional.
