Along highway 62 through yucca valley all of the stoplights were out but for two of them. The motorists were all very respectful and handle the lack of stoplights admirably. If SCE arbitrarily cut the power to traffic safety lights they endangered thousands of people.

I was driving up from downbelow -- and the courtesy and safe driving that motorists exhibited were impressive. There were no accidents at any of the intersections that were observed.

The only deliberate shut down is through the Morongo Basin, and that is a public safety shut off due to the winds in order to reduce the chance of fire.

Here we go again! All of the gas pumps are down in yucca and JT. Motorists are sort of panicking siince all the filling stations are down, as well Intersection stop lights.

(Twentynine Palms): Another outage this morning (1-9-25) from 9:30 to 11:30. The most aggravating thing is no notice. I am on the outage notification list, as SCE asked, but continue to get no notification. I did get a phone call at 1 this morning to tell me yesterday's outage was resoled; however, I knew the power was on at 2 in the afternoon yesterday already. Very poorly run company with little to no regard for customers.

So which is it…..Power is cut off for “customer safety “ or is it because a “fix” is needed?
