So my neighbor just knocked on my door telling me that a mountain Lion was spotted next to our fence last night, IF she’s correct where can I go to see if that was true or if it’s being tracked? I live in Morongo valley near the state park off of Morongo Way…
Robin, if you have time, go by the Preserve and mention it to a staff person or volunteer--they would likely know more about the mountain lions that have been seen locally. I just looked on iNaturalist and scat and tracks have been reported, but not very recently. This might be a good time to install a security camera and keep an eye out!
