is this proposal to benefit the Wander hotel in some way ??
I agree that nobody really wants this project in their back yard. My question is why did the community not band together years ago and buy the property to mitigate the possibility?
Doug, I lived on Yucca Mesa a few years ago. Not one of my neighbors had an accurate crystal ball to predict the take-over of the Yucca Mesa/29 Palms areas by get-rich predators. And, neither I nor any of my neighbors had the kind of income that would have allowed us to save our area by buying up property. Your question is either naive or aggressive. If it's naive, I hope I've educated you. If it's aggressive, I suggest you get out and walk neighborhoods in the area and talk with people. That action will further educate you - and it might reduce the physical energy for your aggression.
