Thank you for this recap. I lived in 29 Palms/Yucca Mesa for a year or so a few years ago. I saw how hard it was for people to find housing. As far as I can tell, these possibilities seem grounded in compassion, knowledge and from a realistic outlook. They reflect the community spirit I found in the area. Please keep us posted.
Would like to know the current number of unhoused individuals in Twentynine Palms, and explore all short term and Long term fiscal impacts on the City. Would also like to compare and contrast all options available. Would love to see a draft of an action plan as well. However, this seems daunting for a small City such as ours, especially because of the recent disruption in City management. I'm just worried if we can handle it.
