Wow, talk about an overly negative spin on a great project. These guys are local Marines trying to bring housing and services to justice-involved veterans, and this write-up treats them like they're hiding something.

Complaining about APN numbers or the fact that Council didn't take a vote completely misses the point. It was an introductory presentation to see if the town would welcome the project, not a final contract approval. If you had questions about their funding or timeline, why didn't you just pick up the phone and call them?

I saw this team at the East Regional Steering Committee and they were incredibly transparent, answering questions and working directly with Supervisor Dawn Rowe's staff and the County. It feels like this article is just trying to create skepticism out of thin air. We should be welcoming a project like this with open arms, not trying to tear it down before it even starts.
